We are Karmen and Primoz and dogs are very important in our life.

18 years ago I had the opportunity to become a proud owner of my first giant schnauzer. She was female and her name was LOLA. "A little smart one" occupied our life. She was brave, kind and trained to be a rescuer. She had a litter and we kept one male puppy. His name was ORF. He was a good working dog. We liked them very much but unfortunatelly we lost them soon.

After these two dogs my husband Primoz and I had giant schnauzer named KAN. He was nice and beautiful dog with "gentle soul". He was with us eleven years.

Now we have HEART BOY RADINIE, our fourth Giant Schnauzer.
As the previous ones this one too, has a different character.

HEART BOY RADINIE

We were looking for a male puppy for almost a year. At the end we chose Czech kennel RADINIE.
Their female Supernova Radinie had a litter of five males and one female in June 2005.
A combination betwen father RAMOS vom Lobbachtal and mother SUPERNOVA Radinie
looked very good.
Puppies parents and three generations back were very beautiful dogs, proud of many awards
from the international dog shows. The majority acquired higher IPO 1 or even the highest
category IPO 3. For all of them were diagnosed data about HD = 0 (A).

When the puppies were one month old we visited kennel Radinie and stayed there two days.
We met the breeders, kennel and of course the puppies. Everything looked great and so we
chose a male puppy.

We selected the strongest one, who was curious and looked courageous and had the best physical constitution. We named him Heart Boy. The name is symbolic for us and has two meanings. First, let him be of brave-heart and second, we also promised to provide good care for him and love him a lot. Now we are satisfied with the name and think it is perfect for him and suits him very much. Heart Boy Radinie or Heart for short came in our home on August 18 2005.

At the begining he was a realy noughty dog.
When he was alone at home for the first time he reshaped my slippers, newspaper was torn
apart and my jogging suit was all over the room. We found our "little lord" sleeping in the centre
of the mess.
But he quickly learned what is wright and wrong.

At the age of four months he started to learn basic commands. He was friendly with everybody and
everything. Specially he liked to play with our neighbour's dog Ali. They liked running around and
doing a lot of silly things.

At the age of six months he participated at the international dog show in CACIB Ljubljana 2006 for
the first time. He was defined as Very Promissing.
During the age from nine to twelve months he participated at the following international and
national dog shows:
- CACIB Vrtojba 2006,
- CAC Hruica 2006
- Alpe Adria Winner CACIB Portorož 2006.
In all of them Heart was the best in the Junior Class.
At the age of twelve months he got title CH J SLO (Slovenian Youth Champion).

His medical exemination of hips and elbows was expected excellent: HD=A, E=0.

During this period he has already shown his character. He is a typical giant schnauzer, very sustained, cool and fearless. He is dominant, intelligent, stable and has a lot of energy. He is also very curious but careful. He is also a good working dog. He is the best for us and we hope he will stay with us for many years!
